Akrobatik is a Boston raised rapper and a member of the Underground Hip Hop Group ‘The Perceptionist’. Akrobatik rose to fame in late 1998 with his hit single ‘Ruff Enough’. He then switched record labels and signed with an New York Independent Record Company known as ‘Rawkus’.
Akrobatik reputation went from an unknown Emcee to a Talented Emcee from his single ‘Say Yes Say Word’. Akrobatik is also known for his combination of style he uses in his lyrics. He combines political consciousness with a fierce battle flow on his lyrics.
Not only did Akrobatik’s music appear on several Movies Akrobatik’s music also appears on various television show such as The Wire, ESPN’s Playmakers, Sports Wrap – Up and Much more.
On February 19, 2008 Akrobatik released ‘Absolute Value’ through a new Record Label known as ‘Fat Beats Records’. Absolute Value is one of the greatest Albums released in 2008. The album features various artist such as Chuck D, Mr. Lif, Talib Kweli and many more.
