Today I want to point out an artist that has always been one of my favorites and is more recently breaking out into the mainstream. Devin The Dude is a cool, laid back hip hop artist from Houston, Texas with a unique voice, amusing lyrics, and calm flow.
If you are looking for an artist who comes with hard and fast lyrics every track get the new Ice Cube Album, but if you want a cool laid back sound with good beats and funny lyrics, this is your man.
While Devin has worked with artists such as Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Andre 3000, and Dr. Dre the majority of his work is mostly unknown by the average hip hop fan.
Waiting To Inhale is my favorite album by Devin The Dude and I would recommend it if you are looking for some albums to listen to while just hanging out at home or before you go to sleep.
