Ugly Duckling is another group that at first glance looks nothing like a rap group. In fact, they look like a bunch of nerds. But this trio of geek looking rappers is for real.
They have an old school style, a funny take on today’s hip hop which comes across well in the songs “A Little Samba” and “Smack”, and one of the most talented scratching DJs I have ever heard. (On far left with chain)
The group is also known for their live performances where they demonstrate their humorous nature and mastery of working a crowd. If you ever have a chance to see this group live don’t pass it up.
Journey To Nowhere, Taste The Secret, and Bang For The Buck are all albums that I recommend listening to and if you were to choose just one let it be Journey To Nowhere.
